Sound
Sound is a pressure disturbance that moves through a medium in the form of mechanical waves.
The speed of sound is different than the speed of an EM wave.

- Temperature and the Speed of Sound
The different components and parameters of a sound wave affect how we hear it.
Sound waves are affected by the medium they are in and interact with boundaries between mediums.
