Education Means More Opportunity and Earning Potential

One of the primary reason for continuing one's education after high school is that additional education usually means more career opportunities. The more desirable jobs generally depend on skill and knowledge that education after high school can provide. It has been reported that almost 90 percent of the new jobs being created today require more than a high school level of literacy and math skills. Earning potential also increases with the level of education. This relationship can be seen in the data below from the US Census Bureau.
